6.5th-Generation RC-IGBT Series (New Products)

The RC-IGBT (Reverse-Conducting IGBT) Series consists of a freewheeling diode monolithically integrated in an IGBT chip.

This is realized by forming an N layer through the P layer on the collector side. The RC-IGBT Series is environmentally friendly

since it eliminates the need for a separate diode. Additionally, it also features a reduced thermal resistance of the freewheeling

diode.
