Data Translation Table
To allow easier interfacing with computer
equipment, some of the Sony™ control codes that
are received by the ELM622 are replaced with
their ASCII equivalents. Conversely, when keys
representing these ASCII characters are received,
the original number codes are sent.
Table 1 below summarizes the code values that
are exchanged. All other codes received are re-
transmitted without modification.
